Port Metro Vancouver is developing the site at 2901 Commissioner Street to provide temporary truck parking in the event of traffic congestion. The existing site would be graded and paved to provide space for up to 50 trucks in the event of an incident or traffic back up along the Port’s internal road system. For more details about this proposed development, please view the project map.

Port Metro Vancouver is developing this site to provide truck staging in the event of traffic congestion, similar to what occurs today. This area will be widened, graded and paved and used to provide space for trucks to stage in the event of traffic congestion on the Port’s internal road system. This space will be able to stage up to 60 trucks for incident management, but it is expected that general use will be for up to 45 trucks. For more details about this development, please view the project map.
